ESTJs value facts, logic, order, security, and they have a serious no-nonsense approach to life. They are excellent organizers and like to run the show. They are fair, realistic, practical, and they pay attention to all the details. They’re great at getting things done, they value hard working people, and they’re very decisive.
They’re social people and are usually outgoing, friendly and direct. You often find them doing systematical work with practical applications. They like to help people but usually don’t like to deal with personal feelings or other illogical things like emotions. Therefore, they’re attracted to all sorts of manager, policing, military, administration and law jobs.
They have a lot of respect for authority, and they put a lot of value to titles, ranks and positions. Their appearance is very neat and a bit conservative. They won’t look very different from what’s average, but they do care a lot about how they look.
ESTJs don’t like abstract subjects, and they often don’t like to talk about the big picture, ideology or anything else from which they don’t see the direct application.
Special ESTJ personality traits:
- Very competitive
- They have a strong need to be in control
- They’re much better at maintaining than at challenging or changing
- They are very good money managers
- They aren’t naturally in tune with what others are feeling
Love life:
The ESTJ doesn’t have extremely romantic or idealistic views of love like the NF types; they also aren’t extremely picky and logical about it like the NT types, and they also don’t see it as one big game like the SP types. They see having a partner just as a part of their life, something to make them complete.
Even though any type can successfully link up with any other type, the ESTJ personality is most likely to link up with the following types placed in order from the most likely match downwards:
ISFP,
ESFP,
ISTP,
ESTP,
INFP and
ENFP.
